I thought I had my wirefeed trigger figured out on my SP175+. But today doing a little welding, it spitted and sputtered, and didn't run consistent.
For a quality Lincoln item, the gun and trigger are HF quality. Two little washers and wires for contacts. Anyway, I bought a doorbell button at HD, a two inch long, 3/8" wide device. All it has to do is make contact, and I'm going to attach it to the handle, and run two new wires to the leads. I think it should work fine.
If not, I'll just go buy a quality gun. This is the first time I can say that I am disappointed with Lincoln quality, design, or construction.
