use for worn down chipping hammers

I found a use for worn down chipping hammers. I made a hotdog/marshmallow roasting stick. This can be done in ~20 minutes.

Items needed: Useless chipping hammer

1/8"x12" rod such as E7018 =BC"x18" rod such as E7024

Cut off the head of the hammer (you only need the springy handle). Chip the flux off each rod. Sharpen/round the ends of the 1/8"x12" rod. Bend the 1/8"x12" rod around a 3" pipe so I forms a "U". Weld the 1/4"x18" rod to the end of the handle. Weld the center of the "U" to the other end of the 1/4".
