I bought a little Lincoln pro175 mig welder the other day along with a bottle of 75/25, for small projects around the house. I built a 2'X
4' welding table out of 2" square tubing and 1/4" plate. Its coming out nice, but I'm still adding to it. My problem is that my garage is very limited for space. I want to add leg supports to the table, but that would prevent me from rolling my welding machine underneath it (the welder came with a cheasy little cart). Then I got the bright idea to add a shelf under my table for the welder and cylinder. I would just get rid of the welding cart altogether. My table is on 4" casters, and 95% of my welding projects will fit on the table. What I'm wondering is, is it OK for the welder and cylinder to be in constant contact with the table?
Thanks, Rich
