An apology to Horrace Cain

Horrace, I am almost ashamed of my self because I have been having a very good belly laugh at your expense all afternoon and evening. Let me share a couple of trivial details with you and see if I can help you can figure a way out of this mess.

Several people I know (including me) think that someone went to Bomber Field and reported to you. Unfortunately for you, the person(s) in question did not know me and reported to you of the guy running around with my good friend SAPropbuster. Your posts on BF clearly indicate that to some. The problem is that I did not spend very much time around him at all. You have been given 2 chances to come clean and two hints at a problem that you have ignored. The time to end your farce has come.

One the final pieces of the puzzle about your lack of visibility at BF came in on of your posts on the subject. Let me share a FACT with you that should clarify the issue for all, including you. The last time I saw you I had peaked out at 192 pounds and this morning I weighed in at 174. Somehow I don't think that fits your description of "Very large".

So, either you have added lying to your demonstrated lack of morals or you suffer from an advanced case of senility. I strongly suggest you check with the guy who gave you the report (and verify the shirt color as it will be the final piece of evidence several can testify to for you) and openly admit getting caught trying to pull a fast one again. Or just leave the field as what you are has been identified for all.

However, I do have one question that you could be gracious and answer. I have been unable to figure out why you would go to such lengths over something so meaningless as whether or not you were at Bomber Field. The only possible answer I have been able to figure out that makes the slightest sense has to do with your good friend, Sandy Frank. I have heard that he recently came into a large amount of money and tonight I wonder if he is paying your way (as I asked you in May) or has he promised you an AVP slot for keeping the attention off him? That is the only reason I can see for you making some of the leaps you have recently taken. I also noticed that he seconded your placement on the ballot.

Where is the apology and what for? Oh I suppose that is just another JB mis-leading thing with conjecture and no truth.

JB, as you did to Red S. for years, you are now trying to do to me. Your insecurity and slimy approach to what you fear most really denotes your character or lack thereof. I was at Bomber Field from 9:45 until 3 PM on Sat. 10/20/03. You stood right beside me at the M&M Hobby display there under the shelter, and you did not recognize me, yet you want me to describe YOUR SHIRT. I think it was a white or off-white however, Sorry, Boob, you don't interest me that much. I never said I saw you and SAP together. I did see you 3 times and SAP at least twice. JB, you think I remember your frame from some 2.5 years ago. Sorry, I didn't remember you being so healthy at that time. I'm happy you have lost weight, as I wish I could, but beer and Mexican food over tempt me kinda' like running for AMA offices. Now, JB, you have the audacity to say in public that you never saw me at BF. You accuse me of lying about being there. I have plenty witnesses to the fact that I was there. You were informed of a number of those in a private message.

JB, here you are in public displaying your total lack of observation, total lack of situational awareness, and you are calling me a liar about being at Bomber Field, a question raised by your alter-ego "dream flyer" on RCU. You and yours started this "meaningless" question. However, I thank you for displaying to the public just how shallow, how insecure, how little your tightly closed thinking-box is.

Man, you are an accident waiting to happen. I hope that your fellow fliers clear the field when you do fly. Your lack of what's happening around you places you definitely in the "Loose Cannon" directory. Unlike YOU, JB, I may miss a shirt color but I don't miss the person.

You have followed my lead in everything, more flying site programs, and better publicity of model aviation, Now, you have even coat-tailed on my post here on rec.models.rc.air, "AMA - For your Information."

One of these days JB, someone just might step on your rock and squash you. Be careful where you crawl.

Is there no level you won't sink to? I think not!

But tell us Horrace! If you win this election, will you continue to pollute the UP with your presence each summer? On the one hand I hope you elect to stay away since that would do wonders for my home state. But on the other hand I can see where the AMA and especially Dist VIII would benefit your spending each summer in the north woods. Packing nuts with your squirrly friends no doubt!
