David Andersen La-7

Hi guys,

I wonder if anyone on this group has built or is in the process of building (or knows of someone who has any experience of that kind) David Andersen's La-7

I've got set of plans from RCM plan service and I'm delighted with the quality of plan and the model itself, but couldn't find anybody who actually built it (except for author, that is).

For the engine I'm considering Titan Zenoah G62SL from Toni Clark with hydro mounts and possibly tuned pipe. Does anybody have any experience with this model and that propulsion?

Cheers

No. That project looks intresting. Are you going to put retracts on it? Do they make retracts that big? mk

They sure do - Century Jet and Robart both have 85 degrees retracts capable of sustaining model of 35+ pounds, and CJ hase mains and tailwheel retracts made specialy for La-7.

In the meantime I've found thread regarding building David Anderson's La-7
