First Plane

Its is a cheap pice of plastic to teach you how to fly.

Leave the clever stuff for later. You have almost no hope of flying a stryker until you have 50 plus slowstik flights under your belt.

A slowstick less the gear - just with motor - is about $50 I think.

All the rest of the gear you will have to buy for whatever plane you get.

When you smash the stik beyond repair (hard, but possible if you persist) its no big deal to bin what's left and transfer most of the guts into something more advanced..although most people keep a stik around for relaxation...

It's function is to be the cheapest piece of plastic that will teach you basic flying skills. You need a season on it before you can sgfely fly someyhing more aerobatic - and then a wing is good - they are tough, aerobatic and not TOO hard to fly.

That is very correct. I had a Multiplex Picojet and it was essentially the same story. You will be all over the place and straight into the ground until you learn to move the sticks intuitively.

Simulator time is very helpful. My crash rate dropped dramatically once I got one.
