Anyone tried a Jett Engineering in-cowl muffler? I would like to try one with an OS91 FX. I have an app where I don't want to hack up the front of the plane and the cowl to make a traditional muffler fit. Their site
Thanks.

Just about anything will give better performance than the stock muffler. Give Dub a call. He will answer any questions you have.
While I am very partial to Dubb Jett products, I hate to admit that I had a good deal of trouble with one of those on a ST .90 I never could get it to stay on the machine. It would vibrate loose no matter what I did. It has enough pressure so that when the engine is right, a loss of that pressure will result in so lean a mixture that the engine quits right now. If you are a bit too rich the engine will pulsate. IMO it is even less tolerant to mixture than a pipe. I have a couple that might be traded! Just joking. :)
Thanks for the replies.

The TurboJett 10cc size underwent a small redesigned. As of a mont ago, its now slightly "shorter" and I believe .25" larger in diameter. Dub incorporated some design and performance improvements. Als improved its mass properties a bit and improved th assembly/mounting/vibration that had been issues on some engines. Testing over the summer on the OS91 and Jett BSE-90L showed favorabl improvements in all aspects. :D
Any questions, feel free to ask.
