Magnum .40 questions

Bought a used Magnum .40 on ebay. No instructions. Questions:

  1. What would be a good prop to use, mabye a 10X6?

  1. Max RPM?

  2. How to start. How many turns should needle valve be opened?

Thanks in advance!

Propeller Size Recommendations XLS 40 Engine

8.5 x 6 9 x 6 9 x 7 10 x 5 - use for break-in 10 x 6 10 x 7 11 x 5 11 x 6

Ideally you want a propeller that the engine will turn in the 13,000 -

16,500 R.P.M. range on the ground, yet power the airplane sufficiently.

Starting point for high and low needles is 2.5 turns from closed
