Any thoughts on a good speed 400 motor (brushless) and ESC that will be efficient when used with a 3 Cell 11.1V 2000mah li-po
Looking for a nice balance between price, efficiency and quality.
Also what does 2- turn, 5 turn, 10 turn in a motor means?

Use a $5 brushed 6v 400, and gear it.
OK its only 70% efficient whereas a cheap brushless will do 80%...but who cares. Flies well.
Better still use a long can 400 (permax 480) , and if you want to pay a bit more, a Graupner speed 480 7.2v or a Permax 450T. That will darn near pull 200W.
The turns ratio adapts the motor to work at different voltages, thats all.
