Parkzone Stryker F-27 CG?

Hi. Been wanting one of these for a while but didnt want to buy the radio system that came along with it. OK for beginners but waste of money for somebody that already has several radio systems. Plus I wanted to put an 020 brushless on it with a LiPo pack. Anyway, they are now selling just the plane itself without any of the electronics, motor, etc. Even comes with an instruction manual and decals. Instruction manual is great for the guy with their "Charge and go" system, kinda worthless otherwise other than a listing of the part numbers. It doesnt give any throws and, more importantly, no info of where the CG is supposed to be. Anyone out there know what its supposed to be?

Hi Dan,

The Stryker comes in three different generations and the CofG is different for them all.

The difference between them is not much...

1st Gen body had wings that you had to glue onto the body. Don't know the CG on this one. 2nd Gen body didn't have glue on wings, they are part of the body (one piece). CG is located on the holes in the finger slots. 3rd Gen has indentations along the trailing edge of wings for adding your own hinges (1st and 2nd Gen don't have this). CG is located just infront of the holes in finger slots.

The 3rd Gen body comes with instructions showing the location of the CG.

For a real powerhouse you may want to consider the Mega 16/15/4 Brushless, Graupner 6x4 prop, and Lipo to suit.... Pulls around 19amp WOT and goes like a rocket.

Hope that helps you out.

Cheers,

Troy.
