I learned on a Cermark Easy Electro. Both how to fly and how to repair. I actually ended up going out of my way to find different scraps of monocote for patching and ended up with what my buddy called a "Disco Wing". Finally met its end when I learned it wouldnt perform an outside loop.

Ah - that's how I reduced the wing of my Piper to packing foam. Glued it back together though.
There's a guy here in Kansas City who is famous for crashing people's trainers. Everybody usually warns the new guys away from him.
Years ago, there was a local guy who was one of those rare people who could put a plane EXACTLY where he wanted it. At the time they flew turn around pattern. (Rossi powered Tippo's) and he was very good. This guy, unfortunately had a mean streak. He used to love to crash other peoples planes if he got a chance to fly them and then tell the guy the plane had a mechanical problem. He bragged about this to someone not connected to the club, but was related to someone who was. They started watching him and caught him red handed. They made a former member out of him. Do you guys still have chiggers in KC? I moved out here (Washington State) in 1962.
