Hey group, This is my second Zagi, the XT. I flew it last weekend and had a crash where the wing is basically in 2 parts. How can I create an effective repair of two wing halves. My concern is a jagged edge from which to start the repair, and how to sure up that repair. Any suggestions??

If the jagged edges fit back together, then fill it with epoxy and put it back together. The jagged edge offers more surface area so a better bond. If it won't go togther, cut both wing halfs straight so that do do. If you need to you can add some more foam in between the halves and sand it to shape. Hopefully the spar didn't break. The strapping tape, and packing tape method of covering, offers a really strong wing, so the repair should not have weakened the wing. The only bad thing is the little extra weight of the epoxy.
Mixig microballoons wioth the epoxy creates a lighter and more gap filling glue as well.
