Rookie wiring question

I'm assembling a Pitts Bi-Plane and there is no wiring diagram.

3 Cell 11.1V LIPO Battery > JESAP04W - combo: JESP04 & Prog-Card speed control for brushless motor. > AXI 2204/54 brushless motor > Hi-Tech Feather FM receiver (401).

How do these get connected??? Some guess that I am making.

1) Speed control to Program card, there is a 3 wire connection (brown, red, orange) 2) Speed control has a red and black wire ==> 11.1 Battery? 3) (3) yellow wires from speed control ==> motor? 4) Prog-Card has (3) pins labeled (4-6V) external power for OPTO. Does this go to the Receiver B/CH4 ??? There is no cable in the kit for this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like you've been shopping at Hobby-Lobby.

The ol' AXI 220454 outrunner brushless motor + Jeti 4 Amp controller combo.

Not to fear: Three yellow wires go to motor, hopefully using bullet connectors. Change direction of rotation of motor by switching any TWO wires. There is no polarity here, only phase angle relationships.

Red and Black wires go to battery. There is polarity here. Very important. Red to Red, Black to Black. Use a JST connector, or whatever matches the battery connector.

The brown, red, orange lead from the ESC with the black connector on the end plugs into the Program Card in upper right corner where is says: controller. This same lead also plugs into the receiver throttle connection socket. Socket 3 if you are using Futaba. It is plugged into the receiver after the ESC is programmed. The Program Card does not plug into the receiver, it is only used of program the ESC.

The programming sequence is probably as follows: plug ESC into motor and programming card. Set jumpers on card and then plug in battery to ESC. The ESC probably beeps and flashes some LEDs at you and it's done.

As for the (4-6V) external power for OPTO, if the instructions don't help, call Hobby-Lobby.
