You would have more people sign your guestbook, if you did not ask for e-mail address and have IP numbers on the sign-in.

I do not give that information out _to anyone_ on a website. You can probably figure it out, but it is always munged.

There is a check box, Show Email address. Don't check it. However, if e-mail addresses were optional, and ip numbers were not shown, it might be more appealing.

I have mine attached to a 2x4 nailed to a large wooden workbench, and it vibrates quite a bit. I thought it was normal! So, as I mentioned to Pete, I need to check the prop.

BTW, any advice on how to balance a prop?

Uhh, buy a prop balancer?

Sorry for being a smart A**, but that is really the only way to do a good job.

You can clamp a razor blade in a vise, and put the prop on that, but a little off on where you set it, and you will not do any good.

You can get a small one that is two threaded cones, threaded onto a short threaded rod, with points on the ends of it that is meant to be place between your finger tips, for very cheap. It is not as good as some of the other fancy ones, but it does a fairly good job.

Ook,

I know of only two ways to balance a prop. If you have several planes (or props) I would suggest using one of these. I have several planes and MANY props, so I use the first example which is VERY accurate. I get NO vibration on any of my engines.

My Dad taught me to: "Buy good tools and take care of them, and they will last a lifetime". I'm a retired senior and I still using RC hobby tools I bought when I was a teenager. Today, those tools are ten times higher in cost.

Howard and all those who read this,

I'm a retired senior, and YES I had four wonderful, typically disciplined children. My oldest son became a Captain (31 yrs) in the USN. My second son is a retires (21 yrs) USAF MSgt. My third son has Masters degree in computer science. He's a software flight engineer and writes software for NASA. My favorite daughter(my only) is married to an extremely successful business man. They just became multi-millionaires last year. None of my children ever asked for financial help.

My second son was so interested in my model planes, he even built a JR. falcon that can bee seen on my website

My third son (the software engineer) gave me my website for Christmas. He set it up, I have to add too and maintain it.

The Good Lord blessed me with four wonderful children, the best anyone could hope for. I never had a problem with any of them.

Thanks for asking!
