Hi There

I picked up a kit of a US aircore Barnstormer some time back. It was sold withpout the manual. I was wondering if any one could help me out.

Thanks

Put a 60 sized 2-stroke on it. A strong 46 will fly it, but not with much authority. Putting it together is a bit challenging. It's done with contact cement. If you don't get it right the first time, it will be forever crooked. The power pod is a real pain. Do what you can to protect the receiver from vibration, but it's not easy.

I never did like this plane when I had one.

I have the manual,it is 35 pages,if you still need copy will get wife to make you a copy. This is a three day week-end(4th.July) so it will take few days to get copy off to you, if you still need it. This plane is not easy to assemble. Best to get quart of contact cement brush(s) from hardware store. I still have my Barnstormer powered by HB VT .59

4-stroke, I allways flew with an instructor as it takes one to fly and another to yell"OH-NO" and "HEADS-UP", but once in the air the ultra quiet fuel sipping 4-stroke it would putt-putt for 30 min. allmost out of sight as i fly "three to four mistakes" high , we had no buddy cord for the PCM radio so tx got tossed to instructor, thus need to be up in stratosphere. That was the only rc plane I took off and landed solo. I wonder if a more powerfull engine would only make it fly more poorly, just crash quicker and harder, I still like it and if the kit were around would buy another one. Allso had the aircore trainer-I never seen anything go so fast so stright down from about 300 ft. and was only in three or four pieces. Send e-mail if you need copy of booklet. bert
