XTR bug?

I just acquired Reflex XTR, the latest version that just reached suppliers this month. I find airplanes encountering an artificial "wall" made up of alternating red-and-transparent stripes running on a diagonal. Sometimes the airplane flies through the wall and the wall disappears...other times the simulation stops cold as if the airplane had hit a solid object. Anybody else seen this? Thanks...

This is a user-selectable feature to help teach "no fly zones" so you get in the habit of not flying over viewing stands or pit areas and the like. I believe it can be toggeled on or off on some flying fields, but it could be permanent on others.

OK, I found that in the typewritten sheet that comes with the disk, but no option to toggle it off. All you can do, apparently, is use the one non-photo scenery. Not very professional interface design...

IMHO, It's an excellent feature. You fly like you practice. If you fly your sim birds over/behind the flight line you are developing bad habits and, chances are, you'll do the same thing at the field. So your sim won't let you buzz the pits unmolested - shame ;-)

Hi, I think I can turn mine off. I changed computers and now have a problem with the program stopping and a hot button appearing on the taskbar. It goes into a standby mode and if I click on the button it starts up again. Must be the computer. Also the scenery gets a little jerky when flying over the trees. I have plenty of ram but using the motherboard video system. I have a feeling I need a faster computer.
