Thanks for all the advice on my G-23. I'm running an 18 x 5 prop with 40:1 Amsoil. It's turning a solid 7,900 RPM. That computes to 37 MPH and over 15 pounds of thrust. Should be plenty for the 1/4 Fokker Dr.1. It idles at 1,800 RPM for over a minute and throttles up with no hesitation. The needles are at the factory settings. I wouldn't mind trying a 20 x 4, if I could find one. Thanks again, guys!
