HTML overhead can be ridiculous if coded by a generator. Thats why I could never understand using a generator. It ain't hard to do it by hand and you end up with funtional and efficient code. Them extra 34 lines are usually there just to mess up anybody who ain't using an MS complient reader... or even if it is.
