Advice on Replacement CNC's Needed

Do you know WHY you want to replace them? The 7500 prm limitation is important if you are cutting aluminum 20 hours a week or more. Otherwise, they are making money, why waste the profits on the newest machinery if you are not into high volume production? The purpose of running the business is to maximise the profits you can. Replacing a machine for "esthetics" is poor business sense. Otherwise, what spefically needs upgrading? Pete

Exactly what Pete said. Make up a P/L sheet to show how the new machines will make you more money bottom line compared to the existing machinery. I run old machinery. To replace the stuff with late model equipment would be a waste since most of the time involved is setup which would not change much with a new machine. I am though thinking of live tooling on my vbm which would be a considerable savings in second op drilling and tapping.
