Saw an infomercial on it, look neat but I see only a 1.5" D.O.C. max. that would really limit it's usefullness. Thank You, Randy

3"dia not to shabby. Spose if some guards removed, maybe 3 1/4?-3 1/2? No we would not do that!

Not even 1.5" from the web site.

What are the product Specs for Omni Dual Saw?

  • Power: 900 w/ 3.9A * Current (no load): 3.4 A * Frequency: 60 Hz * Blade Size: 5 In. * No Load Speed: 6000 RPM * Depth of Cut (Max.) 1-1/8 In. * Extension Cord: 8 feet

On the TV show they were cutting what looked like 2" PVC pipe, they had to rotate it to get all the way through.

Thank You, Randy

5/2 = 2.5 - take some more out for a washer/nut...

The smaller blade has lower torque - that is the metal won't force the blade backwards as hard as an 8" blade.

2" cut for metal is fine. And for most construction metal work. Showed how to cut larger pipe if needed. How a bout a 6" conduit ?
