FS/Parting Out: FANUC 5M Control

groupies:

picked up a FANUC GN 5 Series 5M CNC control; was used w/ a Matsuura MC-660V (I also acquired the other interface cabinet used specifically w/ the MC-660V but have not picked it up yet, it also will be for sale).

if someone wishes to purchase the entire 5M they will be given preference for a couple days (pickup only here in Carson City, Nv.), but will part out if there are no takers for the complete unit.

control was supposedly working when pulled a few months ago, and has been sitting inside a shop; it shows a little wear but has a clean front panel, and the insides and boards appear fairly nice (photos later, have not had time to get to them).

the Matsuura is also available - it possibly had a servo problem, but i'm not certain; it also is supposed to have a rebuilt spindle drive, and was working up until the servo had problems - the shop decided not to repair, but to replace. photos available, price is fairly negotiable, pickup in Carson City, Nv.

PLEASE EMAIL replies, i'm not always able to make it back to the list every day or two.

thanks in advance, barry carson city nv

Well then along those same lines, I'm parting out a citizen F12 with 3T-A controller--currently its missing the motherboard and power supply.

I have the eproms from the original just in case anyone happens to have the replacement mobo a20b-0008-0200-xxx in which case should be easily brought into running condition.

I believe this one is sn 634 or there abouts, I can easily verify in the morning if anyone is intersted. The drives are the -6045 series on this one, which incorporates a single cage for both x and z with shared a logic PS fed to the second amp via a ribbon cable--recalling the actual motors are series

5m likely theres no tack and generally speaking the feedback on these were 2000 or 2500 pulses again I can pull the cover if need be.

No turret tooling goes with this and there is no guide bushings in stalled whatsoever

1/2 in cap barfeeder also but antways email < snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com
