Hello,
I work in designing small industrial control panels. Nothing overly fancy, a PLC with various motors and sensors.
However, last week, my company took a job, were the equipment is going into a Class 1 Div. 2 area. I read the NFPA 70, and it gives some definitions. I need specifics. What kind of components to use, wiring practices, ect. ????
I have never done this before, and, my Electrical Supplier is not very helpful. If someone can point me to a publication, or online guide, I would be most grateful.
Also, Is there a place to call, regarding the NFPA 70, when I am indoubt of my interpretation?
