I've seen single phase units as large as 200 kW during past searches (three phase went up to 5 MW). But I believe the inputs were higher voltage at the high end.

Check Liebert and PowerWare/Eaton.

Liebert manufacurer's from 350 VA / 210 kW to 20 kVA / 14 kW in single phase and from 10 kVA / 8 kW and up in 3 phase product. As you can tell the power factor in single phase can be as low as .6 where in the 3 phase line it is standard at .8 with some capabiliites of going to a .9. Is there a particular reason why you want to stay with a single phase product? I'm assuming single phase is the only available feed in your room.
