My wife is after me to install automatic timers and IR occupancy switches throughout the house. In the laundry, I have an IR occupancy sensor, at the front door a timer that switches the porch light on and off at certain hours. These are the types with a solid state switch (not a relay). Now I find her screwing compact flourescents in place of incandescents, there is one in the porch light now and it "seems" to work.
Can anyone advise the compatablity of CFL's and thse types of modules (I know that dimmers won't work).
