I think the noise in the mains was too much. So I was told. What does that mean? I purchased a new, never opened HP 1300 printer, took it to work, older large Automobile Service department, and I was not able to have the printer work. It did work at home and still does. Is it possible that something with the old service department's electric lines is not good any more?.............Any help is appreciated. Is there a device that I can buy that would tell me if I have a problem, or too much noise? :-) new at this, please don't laugh....Peter
