I've got to move a dual powered server off of a single power bar (both power supplies connected to the same power bar - hence on the same phase) and onto a pair of power bars. Both new power bars are on the same phase - but it's a different phase than the existing power bar).
I have to keep the server up during this migration.
I would like to move one power supply onto the new power bar, leaving the other power supply on the original power bar. At this point, the server's power bars are on two different phases.
I would like to then move the second power supply onto the new power bar. Once this is done, both power supplies will be on the same phase.
These are in Japan with 105V.
Is this safe to do, given that they'll only be on different phases for a few seconds?
