flush chrome sockets problem

Sep 25, 2004 2 Replies

sorry if this is the wrong news group. can i fit flush wall sockets into a dry line wall? If so what boxes do i use? thanks in advance

Dry lining (plasterboard) boxes, although it depends on what the clearance is behind the board and if there's a solid wall there or not.

BTW, the shiney chrome sockets are a swine to keep clean, every fingerprint shows up. The brushed steel ones don't have this problem.

flat plate accessories require a 35mm deep box raised plate need 25mm boxes, but most quality drylining boxes are 35mm anyway

Hope this helps.
