need some help here does any one have a link to a circuit that can be used to implement an inveter drive for a dc motor. the dc voltage can hence be controlled by; variation of firing ac voltage and variation of frequency inverter firing

Is it a full blown inverter you are after? Or will a pulse width modulation scheme do?
The latter would be much easier to implement. An inverter might be needed if you need to step the supply voltage up using a transformer. The transformer secondary will then be rectified to drive the DC motor.
Any recent text on "power electronics" and any text written in the last 30 years dealing with variable speed, electronic drives. This is well established technology. To adapt it to a pa
