Robotics Challenge

Hey, I heard about this robotics challenge: (Information from a forward -Hasim)

The next Edventures in Robotics Challenge is officially scheduled!

We wanted to remind you that it is time to organize an engineering club, have students work with the robotic materials, and gear up for the Edventures in Robotics Challenge (ERC)!

This season's theme is space related, so be thinking about what challenges face engineers in outer space. The ERC Mini Challenges will guide you with practice projects. They are now available in a class format through the online Edventures Course Catalog!

The official time frame for the ERC is:

12:00 P.M. GMT Thursday, February 19 to 12:00 P.M. GMT Sunday, February 29.

HOW DO I START?

Start by having students participate in the PCS Edventures robotics or engineering curriculum found at

as part of your account!

( Call 1-800-429-3110 if you do not know your login or need more information ).

Students who have completed basic training with Edventures robotics or engineering curriculum will be able to attempt the February challenge. Students who are designing and building creations from different construction systems, will also develop the necessary skills to tackle the challenge!

Over the last few years there has been a tremendous surge of interest in robotics. Year round access to the Edventures curriculum and community provides a flexible and extensive resource for your students and staff! This ERC provides an awesome opportunity to inspire and motivate students to explore the exciting world of robotics!

Please contact us if you need any assistance in setting up your club!

Good Luck!
