He/she/it (I'll use "it" for convenience) puts up a pretense in this way. It is apparently correct that it changed the "from information". It is totally irrelevant to the past "I have used no ...".
Furthermore, don't misread the 2nd sentence as implying that the change was to its real "from information" - as the address given is bogus, and it still is bogus even if the obvious "error" is corrected.
A couple months ago, I had trouble logging onto my ISP. I'd just got a card in the mail for another ISP, so I paid for a year upfront, it was cheep enough. But the news server from the one won't work on the other.
Another fellow on one of my news groups mentioned he was very pleased with the Berlin server, and so I signed up. Now it doesn't matter which ISP won't connect, the Berlin news reader works. It is text only, doesn't do pictures or atachments. So I'm less worried about catching a virus.
I'm having some very good things happen in my church and personal life. I've found that when something goes right, something evil happens also. I guess the Usenet trolls are the evil which accompanies the good. It's well worth the price.
You PAY for accessing a special news server on top of what you are paying to access the internet... Umm... WHY ??? Your ISP has newsgroups on its own newserver and accessing those groups is something you can do for free as a paying customer...
I personally have seen some of your posts in groups other than alt.hvac, and you do take on quite a "high and mighty" and "morally correct attitude"... Why don't you just leave people well enough alone... I would really hate to have to go back through thousands of archived posts on this group and figure out how long you have had multiple personality disorder... And then report each news article to uni-berlin.de which has abuseive or cross posted content...

They aren't. uni-berlin.de is the university domain at large. News.Individual.Net is only news related. See you don't know as much as you thought.

You can send abuse reports for the next 2 months. It isn't going to do anything. Even if you could get it's line cut, and based on what you think you can I'm not sure since stating unpopular opinions and being generally obnoxious is usually not grounds to suspend an account, hell if it were and if some people had their way mine would have been yanked by now :), it would have 2 more in 10 minutes if it doesn't already. On the other hand you and everybody else could just ignore it for 2 days and it would die of boredom.

But if I'm dialed into one, I can only download from one server. If I'm dialed into the other ISP, I can only get the other server. With Berlin, I can get newsgroups from both dials.
