What you consider "ripoff", we might understand to be a fair price for our training and experience. What you consider to be a fair price, we would likely veiw as "trying to get the job for free".

Why do usenet posters write posts which have no substative information, and are highly emotionally loaded?

I will give you a good example. A guy called me 2 weeks ago about copying some keys for his scooter. He has been around to hardware stores ,walmart, home depot, etc. They do not carry it.

I took the time to order a quantity of these blanks.I have had them in stock for a week now.I have left several messages on his mschine informing him of this.

So sooner or later, he may lose the only key he's got. Then I will have to code cut a key for the scooter which will cost me more time and him more money.

This is the way alot of people do.They take the "reactive approach" to a problem intead of "pro-active"

I can imagine the conversation "What do you mean you want $50 to come out and make me a key? You only wanted two bucks last week!" (whimper, whimper).
