Chemical ratios in Epoxy

Hello

I've been trying to track down a general idea of the chemical ratios in "epoxy" (ie C:H:O:.. etc).

While it seems there are a wide varieties of brands, when a chemist includes "epoxy" in a chemical name what are they referring to?

Thanks for any info.

An epoxy is any resin that contains one (or more) of the three membered oxirane ring - C-O-C (with appropriate hydrogens added)

The oxirane ring has been attached to numerous resin backbone structures as other have noted.
