Helium

I was recently watching a show on the History Channel about WWII, and more specifically, German zepplins. Anyway, right before the commercial break they showed a fact that said: "The Earth's supply of Helium will be depleated by approx the year 2010." This seemed a little unbelievable to me. Is there any truth to this statement?
