Buttress threads

Is it possible that buttress threads are easier to untight because of vibration than standard threads?

Thank you!

The effective slope of the "unrolled" thread, and the material mating surface friction coefficients, and the nature of the vibration environment determine a nut's tendency to loosen. I can say it does not need much frictional resistance to stop the loosening. Nylock nuts in aircraft use are acceptable for further service if you just cannot turn them by hand..... (rule of thumb)
