I was an engineer in china and I am looking for similar position in canada but after I sent several hundred resumes and I got very few response. I wonder what employer need here. Experience? Local educational background? who can help me to answer this question? Thanks a lot>
a couple of things come to mind...
did you include a well written cover letter that showcases your talents and experience?
your resume's style and format might prevent you from getting the attention of prospective employers
your citizenship might be a huge hurdle, meaning your ability to legally work in Canada
