Yes they are conveyor belts. Wade
A thought - the first that comes to mind: a concrete mixer arrangement using an inclined barrel and internal ridges/baffles. The barrel is made to rotate.

This is not a pump, but will easily handle the maceration part. Maybe you can incorporate (don't laugh) a Muffin Monster or Macho Monster in your system:
