Q. Safety valve spec

Jan 04, 2008 1 Replies

As I know, a safety valve has two limit value. one is Maximum Pressure and the other one is Minimum Pressure.

When pressure exceed maximum pressure point, the safety valve might be poped. But, Why safety valve manufactures offer a 'Minimum Pressure' ? When I use that pressure?

Thanks in advanced

Minimum pressure is the pressure at which the valve will re-seat after it has lifed and the pressure falls.
