Source for Flexible Couplings

I am interested in obtaining a price for a specialized flexible coupling. This is a requirement for a single part only.

It must be capable of transmitting at least 5000 ft.lb of torque, and 60000 lb of axial load. Angular misalignment could be as much as 3 degrees, but we should be able to keep radial misalignment quite small. Speed is very low (

Dear Paul Skoczylas:

Pontiac used to have a "torque-tube" that would do a fine job (just don't ever try and change the clutch). You might just "dummy up" an automotive driveshaft... if distance isn't a problem.

Could you tell me, please, how much room is avaible for this coupling? Thanks, Rino (Italy)
