Sr. project on fractal-geometry heat sinks

Hi all, first note- this site is great reading. I've learned lots from posts here.

I'm going into my 4th year of engineering school, likely to graduate next winter. May slide into grad school, probably not though(I need a job..)

I am working on putting together a senior project with my project advisor who is a professor working in thermals & fluids, especially in microfluid transport.

She has recommended a project to me, knowing my strengths and interests, working on designing, analysing and prototyping a computer heat sink utilizing fractal geometry.

some of the research I've done so far (admittedly just internet stuff) leads me to Koch curve geometry.

I'll be picking up a CFD tutorial book this week.

any advice on websites, books that are must-read in this area, anything else?

any advice is most welcome,
