Aluminium special etching ?

hi buddies, i recently found some interested aluminium etching photos ,

which created some special corrosion process. and i would like to using this technic into my projects. do someone know the formula to make such corrosion process??

I would try it with Fe-III-Cl. It can be easily obtained where hobbyists that etch PCBs get their stuff.

Even better for aluminum is sodium hydroxide, aka lye.
