Anyone have a exploded diagram of a Rem Mod 14?

I was given a rather nice old Remington Mod 14 in .30 Rem this week, but it has a jamming problem where the slide action jams partway open or closed requiring takedown and then it works fine for a few more pumps.

There is a small bar of metal on the lower trigger housing that "toggles", and I suspect that's the culprit, but don't know what it actually does, or how its supposed to work. It appears to be possibly either badly worn or some ones homemade replacement.

Any info, exploded diagrams, links etc would be greatly appreciated.

Are you *sure* that's a 14? I'm postive that the bolt action .22 I was shooting for a while was a remington targetmaster, model 14.

Gunner, I sent you some info on the 141 by e-mail. Some of it applies to the 14 as well (I think). It's a big pdf, over 2Mb.

Yes Jim..quite sure. Im Gunner, remember?

Peter Kellor sent me a marvelous manual and parts list via email (replied to) that covers much of the parts and a working diagram of the action open and closed that answers many of my questions.

Ah. I think I see the trouble. I transpose digits. The targetmaster I was shooting was a model 41.

41 =/ 14

Though the site above has no information about a

41, unfortunately.

Boy I'm batting 1000 here, eh? Though in my defense I wonder why there are two bolt action sections. I initially noticed the one that said

40X, blacked out and not a link.

Thanks.
