Bonney wrenches?

I have been buying these old wrenches at garage sales, and I am really impressed with the quality.

Had a few amongst some tools that were stolen. The Bonney wrenches were in the "go to" group. Real nice tools.

I have quite a few Bonney wrenches, and they are my personal favorites. I have one set of tubing wrenches (3/8" up to 1 1/2" ) in particular that are hard to beat. I dunno if Bonney is made yet but its been many years since I have seen any in stores. Visit my website:

I think they are much better quality than Snap ON or Proto. Dan

Wasn't Bonney the 'low priced' part of the Herbrand line? I haven't seen Herbrand wrenches in maybe 40 years now, at one time they were the mechanics favorite.

Used to sell Bonney, bought a few as I could afford the (pricey). Excellent tools, good feel, on a par with old Snap-Ons. Texas Parts Guy

I worked for an industrial supply house back in the early seventies and Bonney tools were top of the line. I liked the smooth finish which was easy on the hands. IIRC, they were called Utica-Bonney at that time.
