Can you still lift your wife?

Just curious. I mean a full lift horizontally. Not vertically when hugging.

My short furry wife? Sure, over my head even, though that would probably get me scratched.

Yep. We're both 54, married 27+ years. She weighs about what she did on our wedding day, maybe 4-5 pounds more. I'm up about 15 pounds, but I was kinda skinny.

wedding day,

Definitly not. fifty years ago, on return from our honeymoon, I couldn't determine what constituted the threshold that I was to carry her over so I picked her up from the car and deposited her on the bed in our second floor appartment. Now we have each put on 60 pounds and fifty years.

I can lift my wife, she's not very heavy. I could still lift my ex-wife, if I could get the forklift started.

I can lift my wife, still.

Yep, not a problem.

If I keep working on removing the gut I have, she might even be able to lift me....

Is this question about the man's strength or the woman's weight? :-)

RogerN

Me too. In defense of the fat wives of some of the posters here: it's little wonder they turned to food for comfort.
