Sounds wonderful. I'll follow that with the catfish slabs I have tomorrow.

Ditto. I was intending to look for a recipe. What I had been doing wasn't working

Thanks much to the OP

Yo' crazy hymie mo'fo'. What fo' you go to Wal-mrt fo' catfish. Dat be like goin to da thrift shop fo' carp. Yo' ain't s*it if yo' don' eat carp. Yo' be ouch yo' mind to buy catfish at Wal-mart.

Sounds great. But to coat my fish, I always use those brown paper bags from the store. They get the coating all over the fish better and thicker.

Put the fish in there, roll the bag shut, and shake.

Steve

Join the twenty first century. Ziploc bags or those zipper bags. I store the leftover dry coating mix in the bag in my freezer for the next use. Karl

We don't do Walmart, and believe no one else should, either. But, thanks for the great recipie

--Getcher self a copy of New Scientist magazine; there's a photo in there of a couple of guys standing next to the biggest fresh water fish in the world; it's a catfish that weighs something like 500 lbs!

I got a better recipe.

Do the same way you do a cat. Catch the catfish with a spear. Gut the fish. Nail his head to a tree and strip the skin off. Eat the fish. Cooking over a fire is optional depending on circumstances.
