these ones even have a 120v cable and regular electric plug attached, and a grille. I will probably replace the fan on my 10 kW garage heater, with one of these.

Too bad I did not win this

Ya, but what are you going to do wit the other 98 :-)

He'll Ebay them for $10 each and use the proceeds for the next lot he bids on. At least it's a self funding hobby.

Pete C.

Yes, that's pretty much the plan.

I will see what price to set though. One guy is trying to sell a CLE2T2, without a grille and power cord, for $67. (without success). A similar CL2T2 actually sold once for $52.

I think that with my quantity, it makes sense to just try to dump them all as soon as possible, which I think I can do with a $20 buy it now and $8.10 profitless shipping. I would sell them "guaranteed good", not "as is".

SNIP

Hey Iggy,

They are very commonly used on elevator cabs, with the protective grill shown. They usually run continuously for about 4 to 6 years. After you make sure they DO all work, try peddling them to a local elevator contractor as spare parts. Try Thyssen-Krupp first.

Take care.

Brian Lawson, Bothwell, Ontario.

That's interesting. I will see if there are some local people I could call. My experience with peddling stuff this way is not big though, but one or two phone calls would not hurt. Thank you.
