I need to do a short run (100) of brass blanks .05" thick and .95" in diameter. From the top, its shape is not completely round but looks kind of like a turtle with four legs. Any ideas on how I can fabricate this myself?
TIA

What tools do you have at your disposal? Punch press? Band saw? What tolerance?----what kind of finish is required?---How will this item get used?
It would be quite helpful to have more information. There's probably a few ways to get there, but one way is likely to be better than all others, depending on the variables.

A wire EDM will cut the punch and die from a block of carbide at the same time. Just mount the punch and die in a die set and bank-out your perfect parts. You could make millions of these...Oh, you only need 100? Make the die parts from O-1 or D-2. Send it out to get water-jet cut, or laser cut. I doubt you want to cut this many with a jig saw. You'll need at least a 20 ton press. How about a pattern and a router? A CNC mill?
