Killer Machining Calculator/Job Planning and Estimating Software

Gentlemen,

This is a plug for my latest program. It won't be repeated anytime soon. So, read on or close the message. Your choice. :)

Some of you have downloaded and used my freeware program ME Consultant 2.0. For those who haven't, it's one of those machinist-helper/calculator programs that tries to a lot of different things. It works really well and I'm proud of it.

Building on that, I've added a ton of features and refinements to the calculator, beefed up several of the other applications, and added a Job Planner that takes information from the machining calculator and creates a tooling plan/cost analysis that can be used for quoting, as an organizing tool for writing CNC programs, and for all kinds of what-if games.

Create a plan with twenty tools, material steel, machine #1. The program creates time and cost data as you work - with a mouse click or two. Compare your numbers with the cost of the same job on machine #2 - one mouse click to recalculate everything. Different material - one mouse click, including new feed and speed data for every tool. New lot size - one click. And so on.

Designed to be equally friendly to inch and metric users.

This one's not quite free but will pay for itself real fast if you can benefit from what it does. Take a look at some of the screenshots - thirty day trial available.
