Just wanted to post back with a thanks to Tom Gardner and Ohio Brush Co. for keeping me from reinventing the wheel. About a month ago, I was asking about using music wire to make my own impact brushes for texturing stone. Tom had the exact tool I was attempting to make. My goal was to achieve an ancient look on some limestone and the results were excellent! (Sorry to sound like a commercial, but when someone helps me save time and money, I like to give credit where it is due.)
