What Strider appears to do is to wait for someone else to respond to my messages, so he can act like he didn't see it the first time around. He's done it before. It's possible that Lawrence is his sock puppet, an account that he keeps around just for situations like this. Or, maybe Lawrence is just Tonto to Strider's Lone Ranger.

There's no end to the weirdness of a teeth-knashing, spit-tossing Usenet flamer.

It makes it hard for me to maintain my mellow and charming demeanor.
