OT - question about liberal opinion

By Gunner's definition Bill O'Reilly is a raving commie liberal. On 60 Minutes O'Reilly said he is in favor of gun control, legal recognition of gay civil union, gay adoption, environmental regulations and even says that Iraq may have been a mistake. He also says that Rumsfeld should be fired for incompetence, the Swift Boat veterans attack was unconcionable and that he may vote for Kerry.

Still, Mike Wallace punted on the interview. Terry Gross did a much better job on O'Reily on her show. He walked out on the verge of tears. In the rematch on the O'Reilly Factor I understand she litteraly put some serious whoop ass on him but Fox edited out the good part. See:

Of course I hate liberals. I simply return the favor. And actually, based on the results of my last class reunion..it was people who became Liberals who beat me up in school ..least until I got my coordination. Then that changed, oddly.

Yes, it would be something of a stretch, actually. Modern communications and the internet has made the world a very small place indeed, and by simply reading the hate filled spew from Liberals across the country, and viewing their actions politically, it would be a safe bet to say the only difference is in degree, and that being a very small distinction.

Evidently your daddy never taught you to challenge people you know nothing about. But hey..we all have to learn the facts of life and death sooner or later. I learned that lesson very early on, and still carry the scars externally and internally. Hence I dont overload my ass in challenges. But I do answer them. Shrug.

Hardly a biography. Just a little bit about some of my interests. Some of the survival links are dead or terribly out of date. There are not enough hours in the day..sigh.

Ive never found it to be advantageous to be shy, or to be less than straight forwards. Im told Im a bit "blunt" at times.

My word is my bond, a handshake is as good as a contract, shrug. Honor is more than a buzzword to me. I came into the world with my brain, my hands and opportunity. the least I can go out with is my honor and a bit of respect from the mourners.

Dad always told me to speak plain, say what I mean, or keep my mouth shut. Figured that to be good advice.

He also mentioned never to make idle threats, draw to an inside straight, to always sit up straight in the saddle, look the other fellow straight in the eye..and other good stuff that Ive taken to heart. Most of which has managed to keep me alive over the years, albeit with some dings and scrapes here and there along the line. Pretty smart fellah my old man.

Shrug..but hey..each person has to make their own path in the world. Jeff makes his. Hope when he comes to that fork in the trail..he takes the right one.

I pretty much stay the hell away from this hate group .. But now that I am here because there is no work today in Orlando, and not much clean up to do around here, I thought I would drop in .. Good to know from the start who to put in my "KILL" file .. Jesus H Christ .. what a bunch of scum this group attracts .. I pegged you as one of those loud-mouth types who hides behind a cloak of anonymity. I figured you wouldn't put your name out there because you wouldn't want your decent friends, co-workers, relatives, neighbors to see what really lurks in your heart--how ugly you are inside.

At least you rescued a dog from the shelter. I'll give you one point for that.

That's how my dear old Dad quoted it to me decades ago.

Don't forget that youse 'Merkins have a fairly unique definition for that word, "liberal". As an example, here in Australia we have two main political parties, both of which are right-of-centre. The *slightly* more right is the "Liberal" party. Here it means "conservative", or "Tory", or "not-those-f&^%ing-socialists".

Actually Jeff, I run a modest cat and dog rescue. Takes a significant portion of my wages to keep them fed, sheltered, medicated as needed, and so forth. Currently I have 6 adult dogs, 11 pups, about 15 feral cats and 7 domestics that Ive taken in and cured/healed.

Id be happy to ship you a nice aussi/german shepherd cross, or 25lbs of cats.

I also work with the local association for retarded citizens and a battered womens shelter.

But kudos on the rescue(s). You're right about it seeming out of character to me.

How so? I seem to recall a whole raft of Libs that promised on prime time to move out of the US if Bush won in 2000. (they lied of course) but the Sore/Loserman, Selected Not Elected mantra (by her own words she condemned herself) still carries on.

Evidently life with 4 more years of Bush will be untenable for her, and I was simply helping her out. She should fill the bathtub with nice hot water, pour some wine, light some candles, relax to soft music, and when the angst of having 4 more years of Bush becomes too much, she uses a nice new razor blade to slit (remember, length wise) both of her wrists.

Im told that its relatively painless, and as she bleeds out into the bathtub, she simply goes to sleep, care free, with no more worries about the future under Bush.

See, I was only considering her welfare and trying to make sure that she didn't botch the job in a hideous and messy fashion. The coroner simply pulls the plug on the drain in the tub, and they can even have a nice open casket funeral for her.

If I didn't care about her welfare, Id have suggested she suck on the end of a shotgun, and leave a mess her next of kin would have nightmares for years about.

Yes and? Btw..where did I mention Commies? Most Liberals are Socialists, and while Socialism is indeed Communism Lite (see Lenins comments on Socialism being the gateway to Communism), I dont recall ever mentioning Commies.
